I'm wondering about replacing my current laptop (Toshiba A300).

The reasons I want to replace it is because:
- It's hot as ****. CPU can reach 90 degrees.
- USB ports are not working correctly
- It's a bit large (15.4")

I dont wan't to spend alot of money for a replacement laptop as I dont use it for the same purpose as I did with my current one (used it for gaming and studying).

I'm gonna use it for surfing, social networks, HD video, probably some very low-performance games like tetris or flash games.

Been looking at two cheap laptops:
Samsung 305U1A 11.6"
Asus Eee 1215B 12.1"

3495 nok/nkr = 635$

Will AMD E-350 be good enough for my use? Anyone got any experience with this APU?
I want a quiet and cool(as in not warm) laptop

Yes, the E-350 APU will be sufficient for your needs. It runs very cool and quiet. The HP dm1z and Lenovo X120e are my preferences for the E-350; I've used both and an X120e is my main laptop. Both are excellent machines.

I've used neither the Samsung nor ASUS E-350 machines you linked, but both look nice. It's been my experience that Samsungs are built better than ASUS systems in this price range. The Samsung keyboards are remarkably better than the ASUS keyboards, imho. I think you would be pleased with the Samsung.

The Lenovo X120e is very popular. For what you need it will be perfect. I suggest four gigs of RAM in your configuration.
