Neverwinter Nights Glitch

Hey guys was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have the Neverwinter Nights Platinum pack installed and updated but i keep getting a crash bug or something. I can play the game fine but as soon as a mage casts a certain spell the game freezes. I dont know what is wrong ith the game or if there is anyway to fix this.

im running the game on a Insperion 8600
2.0gig pentium m
512 ram
ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 pro turbo

Ive tried reducing the resolution as low as possible, and ive turned off almsot every graphic option so i dont think its that but i dont know what is wrong.

You definitely shouldnt be having a problem running it on that machine. My guess would be it is a conflict with the Dell proprietary software...or something along those lines.

I remember having lots of problems with NWN as well, it seems like its quite a buggy game. Maybe you should take a look at the bioware tech forums, you'll probably find an answer there easier.
