get the latest 1.03.840 ... it resolves most of the issues [i paid 50 bucks on Day One and waited 6 weeks to play it] 🙁

the game is OK ... nothing special ... kinda dull really ... and remember it is a TURN-based [not FPS fighting], top-down view, D&D 3.5 [dice based] RPG 'Party' game

if you like this kind of game, $25 is an excellent price 😉

For those who have played BG2, how does NWN2 compare?

One He11 of a lot better looking, more spells, (prestige) classes, items, and creatures. Not quite as immersive (but really, who has the time? I have to carve out little bits of time to play this beauty). At release it was pretty buggy, I'm on update 4 or 5. It's fun and good looking (like my girlfriend 😉). Buy it.

Ahh what the hell, I just coughed up $40 for it, BB B&M did not have it at that price. I just hope it is worth it, if not, PlaneScape: Torment will be here in about 1.5 weeks.

Reviewers agree with this. Googling a few reviews would be a good idea before buying this game now.

Incidentally, I've also read some pretty spotty reviews on BF2142, and am not thrilled about the in-game adds and data-mining crap.

Again, it's fairly clean with the latest (#4 or #5) update. Don't judge this game by the shipped product.
