My problem with recent MMOs is that the training wheels stay on waaaaay too long and I get bored and quit.
 
What is different? when MMORPG's came out they where new.. but now we have a 100 of them.. they all are fun for 10-40 hours but get pretty much boring after as nothing is new (and im not bitching its not new.. its hard to change up the standard way and be successful).. Im just asking what makes it different then the 10-20 standard "liked" ones before it? or is it just TERRA, RIFT, AD&DOnline, LOTR, WOW, EQ, again?

Agreed, that is a very common problem. It's gotten to the point where in WoW it feels like the training wheels are on until you reach max level and do each raid in an "LFG" group. It's like you have to spend 3 months learning how to play the game before you can actually play it for real. No thanks.
