Here is what happened my dad got some address typed up from some lady and she used microsoft works, well I don't have microsoft works and I can't open the documents with word is there anyway I can convert the works documents into word documents and open them?

man i miss my old macintosh, in this case you could just use regedit, and copy paste from then on.

uh, if there is no import feature you could download some cheesy app that would take care of it (one that supports that extension) and copy paste.

Use regedit? HUH??

Umm... there isn't an import featuer for Works documents is there some program out there than can open pretty much any kind of document?

im saying macs had this program called regedit or something like that, and it could see all data of a file, im sure windows has somehting like this, where it would show file stats and th actual data..im sure someone out there knows what im talking about. so no, dont try win regedit to open that file!
