Nevermind

One time I did not like the tone my sister was talking to me with so I just ignored her. She started grabbing me and pounding her fist at my face so I stood up and looked her in the eye angrily and my sister called the police and told them I was being "out of control", the cops came and she told them how I was ignoring her (which she seems to think is illegal) and she seemed to think I was going to be arrested but the cops just told her i did nothing illegal and left, my sister ran to her room and cried.

ok yeah that sounds like a problem

So...stupidity runs in your family?
It explains a lot about the Op, but I also have to admit to such craziness with my siblings, and all of my sisters (6) are older than me. It made me feel good when neighbors thought I wasn't born into their family and that led me to explain the situation as 'being adopted'. When I started saying that people bought into it without reservation. No one would believe that we had shared genetics. And it wasn't until my late forties that I [finally] ran into a distant aunt I had been unaware of, that led to the actual evidence of being biologically related as she was just like me and she not like her siblings. My wife laughs at this haven heard the stories years earlier and us finally meeting this aunt.

I guess there can be a case in which one child excels in every way ahead of the pact of animals that one could consider that unique person isn't biologically related. This is not the case of the OP, though. 😛

My older sister used to pound on me mercilessly. When I was 12 I was a runt, she was 14 and kind of a jock. She found out another boy was picking on me, and beat his ass. No one was allowed to pick on me except her. All of a sudden I went from runt to 6'0" and some hair around my satchel and a few muscles. I pinned her down one fine summer day, and wailed the crap out of her. My older brother tried to make me stop, all the while hollering "you never hit a woman" and my reply was "she's not a woman, she's my sister".

She's probably my best friend and we love each other dearly now.

Dated a girl decades ago who couldn’t understand why America was the only place that celebrated Thanksgiving....
So frustrating trying to explain why it is a US holiday, I sort of gave up.

OP has done something that nobody else on ATOT ever has

therefore, he is worthy of the highest honor and i think he should be given honorary lifer status

He did do a first, I have never seen someone do a similar thing.
Absolutely deserves something, not lifer but a title would be more appropriate

Similar but different experience around the same ages too.
My Sister and I had a particularly brutal argument about something when I was 11 or 12, she must have been around 15.
I can’t remember what dumb thing we were bickering about but I remember she was very mean to me and I said something that was really mean back (I forgot what I said but just sitting in my car thinking about it brought back the same feeling of regret I had as a kid). Maybe an hour passed she came into my room, gave a real sincere apology, I did the same and we agreed to never fight like that again.
Which we never have since that moment. We’ve had tiny disagreements but that is all.

How are you guys able to see the picture? On my iPhone, the link just takes me to forums.sherdog.com with a message: "You must be logged in to do that."

News flash, we've all done and said stupid things in our lifetime. its quite a common thing that kids do. Dont judge your sister too harshly.
