I was thinking of getting that card before Xmas. I could have had it for $136 shipped AR and a $15 off code. For a very short time I think you might have gotten CoD4 too. I went with the Sapphire 4870 for $165 shipped AR instead.

His posting is correct actually, as the price of the card itself is $140 in the shoping cart and shows a $30 mail in rebate. Newegg then adds the COD World at war as a gift. The subtotal is $189.99. After rebate its $159.99 including COD World at War.

SO if you were planning on buying WAW anyways, well isn't the card truly a deal at the $189.99 ($30 mail in rebate) price with WAW? That comes to the 9800GTX for $110 after MIR plus WAW for $49.99?

Seems like its a deal and valid.

I too was lured into this thread by the promise of a $110AR 9800GTX+ and am not happy to discover that's only valid if I also spend $50 on COD:WaW. Now, if we could just discard the "gift" ...

In no way is the card $110. It is $159.99 AR with a free game.

I came in here thinking that there was some smoking deal on a 9800GTX for $110 with a $50 gift too. I had to read through all these posts to figure out that this is $159.99 AR and free WAW (which I still don't see either) but I am not interested in a full price WAW anyways.

Please change the thread title to a more accurate 9800GTX+ $159.99 AR and free WAW

And no offense but I don't think anyone who reads the hot deals forum has paid $160 for a vanilla 4850 in a while. I paid $150 like 6+ months ago. Most 4850 deals are about $110-130 range (and often come with free games) which is lower then the $160 for this 9800GTX deal.
