multichannel amps suck. They are overpriced and underperforming.
JL stuff is nice, but if you are just looking for a little extra sound I don't know if I would spend that much money. What kind of car are we talking about?

Mazda3 sedan....
I may be able to get some infinity amps/subs at 60-70% off retail, should i go that route?
I basically just want something with more defintion that i get with the stock system, definately more low end, but like i said, i only want to hear it in my car, not down the blockThe stock system lacks color.

why wouldnt you buy in infinity setup if you can get that kind of deal?
And if you want to do it right, pick up a nice 4 channel amp for you highs and a monoblock amp for your sub(s). You will spend less and get more performance.

I like metal tweeters and bright sound...so i'm more into MB Quart, Focal, and Diamond speakers.........

I was at Sound Advice the other day checkout out some car audio, and the guy was showing me his JL setups...
The definately sounded good, but are they worth the money over Infinity, Alpine, Kicker, etc?
I dont need bone shattering bass, i'm just unimpressed with the new stock system i have and want to add some bass for now (single 10" or 12") and eventually some new speakers...
I also saw they have a 6 channel JL Audio amp, would that suit me well?
