yea....pretty much, they hire a bunch of co-ops for FT positions. I co-oped last year also, but for a different company. It was designing online patent submission software. interesting, but not something I would want to do for a career (and it was a small company). Working for a place like AMD gives alot of flexibility, since its such a large company so theres bound to be something there you that suits your skillset.
