I like the Tears for Fears version. That song's about nuclear war BTW. I don't know that this thread was about tho'.

MAD == Mutually Assured Destruction, which was seen in the 70's and 80's as the best hope for peace (thus "The dreams in which I?m dying Are the best I?ve ever had" "And I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad" "Made to feel the way that every child should Sit and listen" (peace/disarmerment talks).

I don't care for the Gary Jule's version, though I think it's neat that it was so popular, and hit #1 in the UK, which can only help give Tears for Fears a little boost. The new Tears for Fears album called Everybody Loves a Happy Ending, the first with Curt Smith back in the group with Roland Orzabal since 89's Seeds of Love, comes out Sept 14th!
