Nevermind.

I don't think you guys are compatible. She just sounds like a control freak and you're obviously not willing to go along with it. I think you need to think about breaking up with her if she's not making you happy. If she's this bad now, it's more than likely just going to get worse if you let her wear you down into going along with her view of the world.

Reminds me of my father, whose legacy I am still trying to shake off. I've got the same problems with being hard-headed and thinking that I'm always right, but I'm getting better, fortunately.

BTW, what is up with all the gibberish symbols sprinkled throughout your post? Is it just me or does anyone else see it?

I think you two need to talk about this. Sit down and a serious open conversation about it. If you are serious about this relationship and she is too, you must both be able to expres yourself and not have to worry about how the other person will react. If you find yourself feeling frustrated about things, the other person should know about it. In your case maybe she has no idea that her actions have this affect of you. You have to make her aware of that. Anyway, I tried to give you some advice, because my fiance and I have had this discussion before. Now when stuff comes up like this, we both are able to talk about it openly without anyone's feelings getting hurt. Good luck and I hope you two and work it out.

Well I read your post before you got rid of it and I have to say that, honestly, what makes or breaks LTRs is simple day to day living. Once you get past the "honeymoon" stage of falling in love with someone (often around the 1st anniversary) you find out what being with that person is really like. You are most likely no longer "falling in love" but rather you are "in love". Again, I don't even know if this is true for you. Is your relationship worth all of this pent up frustration that you have? Have you talked with her about it?

If the bad outweighs the good, it's time to move on my friend.

Edit: I saw the weird characters too.

Okay, so first post is a flame. I deleted my message.

Awwww, screw the flames. You're always going to get a little chaff along with the useful replies to these YAGTs.

I have to agree with you here. I also say that you can't really know somebody for sure until you've lived with them for a while.
