FYI anyone with an AK31, that sticker on your PCB is LEGIT
/edit
I have an AK31, and was cleaning it, and a sticker fell off the lower left corner (where the model number is) the sticker read "AK31V3.1" and the Board said AK31V20. I checked the same on my friend's motherboard and his had the same sticker with the same number under it, he got his at about the same time from the same place.
What the crap is going on? did they just update the northbridge (the only difference) and slap a sticker on it? I tried to get to the northbridge, but the heatsink on it is epoxied on so I cant check the version number.
So Im asking you AK31 owners to take a look at your boards and see if there's a sticker on it, and please check.
I ordered this from Newegg, and I want to know who, if anyone, I should be rioting at.
I've sent Shuttle an email, and am waiting for a response.
Im trying to get a pic of the sticker and my board right now, but my digicams being weird.
