Never underestimate stupidity

A selection of genuine warning instructions from a variety of domestic products. The thing is, just at whom are these warnings directed?

On a packet of sleep-aid tablets:
Warning: May cause drowsiness

On a microwave desert:
Warning: Product may be hot after heating

On the bottom of a ready-made tiramisu desert:
Do not turn upside-down

On a bottle of children's cough syrup:
Warning: Do not drive or operate machinery

On a child's superman outfit:
Warning: Wearing this garment does not allow you to fly

On a Sweedish Chainsaw:
Warning: Do not attempt to stop chain with your hand or genitals

Haha, swedish chainsaw...

This is what happens with all the frivolous lawsuits here. "Oh, the coffee was hot!"

Oh, forgot one. Well, it's not really a warning, just something stupid:

On a bottle of insect repellant:
Not tested on animals

Warning labels usually end up on the product because someone was dumb enough to try it. Makes me wonder about the chainsaw.

I don't even want to know.

Another one is on the sunshades you put on your windsheild: Do not drive without removing.

The chainsaw one is easy to explain. Remember how the grand canyon was formed? The whole ax thing? Well, once upon a time, a VERY long time ago, there was this woman with a chainsaw...

As for the McDonald's coffee lady, that coffee was like 200F degrees and that particular McDonalds had been warned about this before. That's not to say that I like frivolous lawsuits.

BAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAH

<< For external use only!" -- On a curling iron >>

Who tried it any other way? :Q

This warning is from some microwave meal that came in a plastic bag inside a box. On the bag it says:

WARNING: Do not place bag in microwave! Doing so may result in damage to the bag.

istallion,

The coffee was 180F, which is within the standard range for all commercial coffee makers.
