My wife and I picked this up at overstock two weeks ago,
LINK w/ Discount

With the coupons floating around, we got it for $55 shipped for a King size

arrived two days ago, and we let it sit out to return to full size and put it on for the first time last night.

W-O-W

What a HUGE difference. Its like I'm sleeping on a pillow of clouds, all contained in a marshmallow heaven, on an ocean of bliss.

I LOVE IT!

Dare i say, the best $54 i've ever spent? Absolutely, I haven't slept that well in a long time and a much better alternative to a new $1500 mattress for the time being.

the only thing i don't like about ours is that it shifts. it moves around and we have to straighten it out everyday
it is like it is slipping to one side of the bed, but the bed is level or course

Nod, I sleep on a Tempurpedic, or not at all. Not because I'm a bed snob (I am), but because other beds suck in comparison.

I used one of those when I lived in the dorms and had a really crappy mattress. Made a wonder of a difference for only $30.

That stuff actually works? I thought it was a gimmick.

They seem to be hit or miss, we love ours, but my sister-in-law bought one on our recommendation, and now it's on the guest bed.

I've been considering a memory foam mattress topper, but couldn't decide on a economical <$70 3" topper that would be of a good density to do any good. What density is this?

Not sure... It's not listed... But all i know, this thing ROCKS.

I updated the link in the OP to include the discount. It went up by $2 in the past two weeks, but IMO worth 2-3x that.

Yeah it's awesome - I got one from overstock or smartbargains or something a while back. Love it.

To keep it from shifting you may be able to put something underneath like that shelf liner stuff that keeps things from moving.

Works. We have 4 Tempurpedic pillows, a Tempurpedic body pillow, and the Deluxe Tempurpedic King. Deliciously cloudy.

I picked up a knock-off a couple weeks ago (Plush Bob-O-Pedic) and love it. My wife and I both sleep waaaaaay better than we did on our previous Pillowtop. It's super-comfy...I can't imagine a bed being more comfy or one that would conform more to your body. I even tried a Sleep Number bed and this is way better

depends on the material. Some of the memory foam pillows do trap heat, but my Serta (Target branded, but serta cert'd) Deluxe memory foam pillow is amazing. However, I am one of the worst sleepers in the world... I constantly shift. This damn twin bed in my room here at school don't help.. I usually spread out like crazy.
the pillow doesn't trap heat and all, and is rather dense if cold, but heat does change the density of it (adjusts and softens when heat is applied... so if its really hot in the room it may be softer, if I take it outside in the winter it becomes almost brick-like and I could probably kill someone if I swung it at their head lol).
it's contoured, which is great except when you constantly change positions. Sleeping on my back, I rest my head on the smaller contour side, but if I roll onto my side, my neck will be sore in the morning if I continue to use that side, so I gotta consciously remember to rotate the pillow as to use the larger contour portion since my head will my higher off the bed when sleeping on my side. Kind of an annoyance but if I remember, it's so much better for my neck. My neck is really sensitive to bad sleeping positions and I'll feel it in the morning if I don't use an awesome pillow.

The wife after complaining about relatively new pillow top mattress got one and it seems to have stopped her complaining.

The only thing is we bought a bedroom set with a wood bed which raised the bed up a little. We have a full sized box spring with that 18" pillow top and now another 1 1/2 inches of foam. I'm thinking about getting a spring board so I can mount the bed.

I spent over $100 on my king size at Costco. Thought at first it was too expensive but the difference was phenomenal. I don't know how I ever slept without it.

When we were sleeping on a hard futon, we finally broke down (after a year or so) and bought one at Costco. It was heavenly. No more pain.
