At least if when you voice an opinion on something, they restrict you to literal quotations of laws, etc. I was going over the DMCA, and talking about some of the abuses of that law.


Sorry, can't do that I am told. I can only discuss the law as written.

I said, "Well, that ends the conversation, talk to you later"

I was 2 feet from this guy, turned and walked away leaving him mystified.

This happen to you often?

i agree never talk politics with relatives or even friends sometimes they go crazy!
 

I like pissing off my uncle when he comes over by talking about my viewpoints...its funny. But I am going to have to agree...other than what I just said, bad idea for me to talk about anything that involoves opinions.

Or casual friends either. I have found it is best to not discuess any of the above with family or a friend(unless you have known them a killzillion billion years).

No, no. It's "Never talk Politics, Religion, Sex or Computers with relatives".

Talking computers can get you in big trouble.

I've convinced several relatives to vote differently. Close relatives btw....;)

Friends, on the other hand, can be real touchy!:Q

My one brother is a staunch coservative. A BUSH campaign volunteer in the last election.

We talk politics sometimes...but he usually avoids it anymore.....as he gets tired of losing...:D
