And the wait continues, This 950 pro is vaporware at the rate it keeps getting pushed back.

Pushed back? Do you know something I don't? Looks like the release date is in a few days. Newegg also just moved up their release date from Decemeber 1st to November 1st.
 
here it was the 27th now looks like the 15th of November now. but i fully expect it to slip more.

Ramcity have "units due 7/12/2015" 7th of December OUCH!!

nevermind, we're talking about different regions of the globe. However, of all the hardware proposed or delayed through the years, the 950 is not even close to being labeled as vaporware in my book.
 
The SM951 nvme version is in stock where I live.

There's also an ahci version, so watch out.

Why would you buy a SM951 nvme over the retail 950 pro? IMO the release of the 950 pro has side lined the SM951 for the consumer market.

The AHCI version has been available for a long time, but its not NVMe..
 
Why not? It performs the same, is available and is slightly cheaper than the indicated 950pro launch price.

950pro looks better though.

it did get pushed slightly

amazon moved mine from Oct 29th to Nov 4th
