my problem with the game is that the levels is that there's nothing smart or clever about the puzzles. They're just annoying.

Got stuck on 43, dragging the text, I can't seem to release it and can't find the hidden button.

Yes, the drag and drop sucks since it often won't let you drop it. I had to restart a few times to get #43 to work. Just drag it far enough for "invisible button" to be centered over the capital 'L' in 'Level 43'. Your invisible button will show up in the bottom corner. It really isn't a button, but something you drag.

I got to #57, and even somehow got the blue box to change to a symbol. But from there I gave up.

I just repeated the whole level four times before I could get it to work. I was very deliberate about staying on the screen, and not moving my mouse while releasing. Really just blind luck.

I ended up doing the same thing. Good thing that level 42 was a password level. I had to retry about 5 times.

Assuming you got to the symbol, think remote control.

Assuming you didn't, try dragging the squares.

EDIT: Oops, nevermind. You don't need to drag them. You just need to click them in a particular order.

Spoiler: Click them in a pattern until the center box changes. Then don't click any more. You just have to guess the right word. And note, there are multiple words for that symbol but only one works.
