Oh man, are you talking about the Phillipsburg Mall? Because that's not too far from you. Now that the K-Mart is gone, they take the shopping carts from Sears all through the mall.

What's wrong with their price match policy? It has the same exclusions as pretty much every other store, all with good reasons.

Yah the P-Burg mall what a place! I didn't realize the Sears had carts.
I made out like a bandit when that K-mart went down.

Circuit City got rid of appliances because of the massive cost of warehouse space, installation issues, etc. It just wasn't worth it to them anymore.

Circuit City has $900 million in cash and no debt. We can bleed money for quite some time if we wanted to.

Circut City closes stores, but each year we open more. 70 some stores open this year. Circuit City is no where near gone, and continues to grow.

People who dislike Circuit City usually had bad experiences from the past.................when there were restocking fees, harsh policies, etc.

Circuit City is now trying to be very customer focused, no restocking fees, price match plus (110%), etc.

A friend of mine works at a local Best Buy, he claims that i could come in there and start pushing monitors off their shelves, spilling drinks on laptops etc. and i wouldn't be held responseable for a penny. According to him it is the store's fault for putting the stuff out on display. I think he is full of it. As an employee at Circut City, could you tell me what the real policy is on that?

you can be charged with destruction of property if it is intentional, but if you do it on accident, it is the "cost of doing buisness". Those "if you break it you bought it" signs are not legaly enforcable unless you can prove it was on purpose. (per the one and only law class I took. At least I remembered something :))

around here (ca) i find that cc is the same price as any other place (best buy, office xyz) if it's not on sale. so if i'm buying something full price, i'll go to cc cuz i like their service the best.

I work in a Circuit City that happens to be right next to a Target store.................every other day some moron brings a Target cart in here with a screaming baby vomitting all over it.

Carts and Babies + Electronics store = ugh

Our aisles also aren't designed for carts......and our floors cause the wheels to make excessive noise...............
