lol, I don't even know his email. A simple thank you can go a long way, that's all I wanted/expected.

Can you explain that quote for me?

Basically, it's saying that you do a good deed and then the consequences bite you in the @ss.

That is akin to "The road to hell is paved with good intentions".
Tell him he owes you a Thank you and some day you'll be calling on him to collect a favor in return.

Some people are ungrateful, clueless, users, and have total lack of consideration for others, etc.

If you help again, no whining--you deserve every bit of misery you get! Henceforth your helping will be classified as: "Self-inflicted wound".
