Taking what back?

If you believe in democracy then you have to admit that Obama won the election. This absurd idea that teabaggers are going to take the country back is insulting to the process, Its insulting to the constitution, and its insulting to basically every moderate person in the country. You can disagree, become active, and run for office, but advocating sedition is illegal and used to get you shot on the white house lawn......

If you think that wingnut radical right views like this are mainstream then you seriously are delusional. Sure you have some populist outrage right now but the "Constitutional Conservatives" of the tea party want smaller government and say they hold the constitution sacred but the first things they do is want to change the constitution- see removing citizenship rights from children of Immigrants.

If tea baggers want to be taken seriously then start by living your principles. Give back your social security. Stop paying your taxes. Dont drive on taxpayer funded roads. If you get in a car accident die on the street because that ambulance will be turned away by your principles...

What gets me is that taxes this year are lower for the majority of Americans then they have been for 30 years. The tax rates under Reagen were much higher.

Lastly Most people want the simple things, a roof over their head, a good education for their kids, and a good future for their family. While I do know Nevada is very conservitive and Christian they are also very happy to get their tax revenue from sin city. This crazy person running against Harry is going to make it easy for him. Hard right and hard left wins primaries. Center wins elections. Funny how that woman makes Harry Reid look moderate.

USA isnt a democracy.

Also, if they want to give me back what I paid into SS, I would be more than happy to opt out.

Yep. Let me opt out of SS immediately and give me everything I've paid into it. It's sickening when I see how much I've paid into SS. Sickening. Imagine what I could have done with that 10 grand a year during my career for my retirement.

I don't need SS, I don't want to pay for it.

Say the words and its a $500 bet First. I'm waiting on ya.

You failed so hard in this thread

Is that why you and spidey wimped out of the $5K bet? I said if you send Hayabusa the $5K and I confirm it I'm game. Guess you two are all talk, but we all knew that.

The Nevada Senate race will be one to watch, but not being a resident of Nevada, I do not get a vote.

The other thing is that Reid, as Senate majority leader, leaves him as a giant target the GOP would just love to unseat. So that somewhat guarantees even cash strapped Angle some GOP national money funding.

And we also have to ask why Reid is Senate majority leader, and IMHO, its his ability to not alienate liberal and conservative democrats, making himself into a man in the middle conduit. Rather than being a that strong leader with a plan that I think the democrats need now. So even if re elected, Reid may not survive as Senate majority or minority leader.

The last things to note is that early polls, are notoriously unreliable and that Nevada, as a State that experienced explosive growth and then a sudden contraction even before Obama took office, is going to be very hard to predict. All previous Nevada conventional wisdom cannot be relied on now.

Yep, just like a gambler. Imagine what you could have done with it? Which from now on we know means you would have lost it on gambling. What's the difference... Pft. Grow up.

Very well put. Sadly this won't dent the stupid displayed on a daily basis by these wingnuts. They are woefully transparent and have no clue just how pathetic mainstream sees them as.

I guess YOU haven't been paying attention to elections recently. We The People already took the country back from party that ruined us 2 years ago. Your grandiosity is funny to watch though. I can admit that. The only thing that you are wide awake to is the fact that you have lost and are on the outside looking in. That is a step in the right direction I guess. Wake up so more and know that you and your ilk will always be relegated to the kids table when the adults are talking. You are a fringe lunatic just like your leftwing counterpart DMC and will never be taken seriously.

And if you had agreed to 5k, he would have raised it to 10k, trying to find that magic number that's just out of your range of available funds. All he did was make himself look like a huge pussy. Everyone knows this.

Say the pussies that won't bet and still don't get what's going on here. A truly classic thread for the books.

Funny how that works. People have jobs, people pay more in the taxes. People no have jobs, people pay less in the taxes. No trabajar, no es bueno.

There is no inherent discrepancy in believing that Obama won the election and saying that Americans are "taking back" the country, since we are presumably taking it back at the ballot box. I don't believe there's going to be such a sea change as many believe, especially when the main stream media goes into full campaign mode, but certainly there is more passion today for dumping the donkey and embracing the elephant. Only nut jobs can't distinguish between calls for smaller government and a desire for no government, so, here's your sign.
