Another free loader, another law breaker and right lines up to defend their fellow white guy. You know if it was a legal Mexican immigrant the tone of this thread would be much different.

Out rage not found.

There you go. Bring race into the topic. That should surely increase the quality of conversation.

this dude had it coming

but WTF

that's terrible economics for this terrible PR they are receiving. probably a HUGE net loss after you factor in all the staff time over 2 federal court cases and this circus

Heh I should have added "spending a lot of money" to my list of what govt does best. They spend 1 million to kill cattle and destroy infrastructure.

And, that free loader did a wonderful job of avoiding paying his fees, being a leech and skirting his responsibilities - for well over 2 decades.

Sure he did. And our govt is showing him by spending 1 million tax dollars killing his cattle and destroying infrastructure.

Declaring it open season and letting hunters take home a freezer-full would have been a better solution. Those cattle were taxpayer-raised so it would have been a way to let at least some of the taxpayers benefit.

So the government has the right to steal private property?

Cattle will be sold to pay for the roundup. Think they would be kept in pens and feed forever? Dead cattle happen in most roundups and are just mentioned for the media hype.

Well feel free to explain why someone breaking the law, taking advantage of government sources and given plenty of time to comply would be defended by people like you. I know you don't support free loaders because we hear day in and day out how we need to stop/cut programs that help the needy. So unless you support people who break the law (which actually could be true), then I, as a rational person, don't understand your support for the guy.

So if it's not about race then what's it about? Fighting the "man"?

The government has a right to dispose of private property abandoned on the public lands. The rancher left his cattle on the public lands without authorization. A judge ordered the removal. The rancher is a deadbeat and the taxpayers have to clean up his mess.

I'm certain this time.

That one wasn't meant a big deal anyways, also, it wasn't me typing stuff on my site, in that case it would be my fault.

"The trouble started when Bundy stopped paying grazing fees in 1993."

"he has lost two federal court rulings — and a judge last October prohibited him from physically interfering with any seizure or roundup operation."

Big story going since yesterday ....

Cliven Bundy is the rights-holder. ...

It's not my fault if it ended up innacurate.

Where am I defending him? I am pointing out our govt killing cattle and destroying infrastructure. And how they are spending nearly 1 million of our tax dollars doing it.

There's that great righty logic again! We can't have gun laws because they aren't 100% effective, we can't have immigration reform without stopping 100% of illegal immigration, and now we have, 'can't have government enforcing laws because it costs money'.

Do you think your logic is flawed? Or was your post simply supplying the facts with no undertone at all? If so, what was the point of your post?

That is a rather amusing picture you have painted of me in your head.

The government should have done this twenty years ago. Instead they coddled him. They should bill him for the operation. If he obstructs the operation he should be jailed and prosecuted.

Feel free to change it by answering the questions I asked in this post and in my response to your previous post;)

Pay attention to what I say on those topics. Immigration one is hilariously off. I have been for open immigration for nearly a decade. Take that answer and deduce how far off you are on the rest.

"paying grazing fees" is explained somewhere in 30 min interview, let me find the part and i'll post a link.

just patience

why does the BLM have snipers?

They were reported, I can't keep up it's a lot of stuff going on, I don't know if one of the locals saw it, but the reporters today didn't, and there will be a video later when it's uploaded that will show the area snipers were reported, but they weren't there anymore, supposably.

Who the land belongs to is debatable. But the government shouldn't be sending in people with guns and spending millions of tax dollars to deal with this. This isn't the first time they have done this. They have tried to take away peoples private property because certain animals live there completely screwing the landowner out of all the money they spent. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they were up to the usual tactics.
