Anyone else out there going to the big show in Vegas next month?

I can't do Vegas this time. Right now, I'm doing pretty good just getting to and from my car. All the walking at the Vegas show would almost certainly put me on the operating table. I am down to only one cane (most of the time), so things are getting better.

Should be a good show. I guess Dr. Perlman will be there, Doug Comer .... I guess Chambers is doing the Keynote speech. There's likely to be some excellent sessions.

Which hotel are you gonna get?

If you get by the NOC, look for Erik (he's the boss for the exhibitor network) & tell 'em I said "Hi." The last show (Fall / Atlanta) opened about 15 minutes before the planes hit the towers. Needless to say, the show was less-than-steller. Many of the exhibitors closed their booth by noon and all but the tear-down crew headed home.

Since I'm not going, you can have my parking spot.....

I was there last year as a last minute fill in, but probably not this year. I'm not really a networking guy, I mean how many different gigabit switches can you try to sell me hehe And after 3-4 days in Vegas those slot machines make me want to kill someone =)

The classes were cool though.
