So I understand that networking is important but I HATE it. I'm ok at it, I can strike up and hold a good conversation with a variety of people and I follow up when relevant, but I am first and foremost an introvert. That doesn't mean that I'm uncomfortable around people, it just means that after talking to someone, I feel drained. It takes a lot of effort for me to actually network with people I have no interest in, and that is 99% of the people I talk to. What strategies do you guys use so that you don't feel dilapidated after either a networking event, or an informal conversation?

Write it all down. Keep notes. Categorize people and go over your notes when you're going to meet people again. Works for me.
