Ok, I am a complete newbie at networking. I have 3 comps set up to share an internet connection, and im trying to get a fourth, its a laptop and its running WinXP. 2 of the comps are running Win2000, and the other is running Win98. Now, I don't know why the laptop won't connect, or even recognize the network. And yes, I have the ethernet cord plugged in. Another thing, and I know its dumb, but how do you share files with the other computors? I know this is dumb, but hey, I don't know what im doing. 😀

Ok, another new problem, I can't play StarCraft over the network on battlenet! I've heard that it needs seperate IP addresses, but how do I assign them to different computors?
