I have one server using Redhat Linux 7.0, and I would like another server running NT to be the DNS server. Will there be any problems with this?

Nope you shouldnt. But you will have to setup a Samba server on the Linux box to share files and printers. But for pinging each other and letting the Linux box surf the net on the NT box. A proxy server or windows internet sharing will work fine. NT has windows internet sharing right? I dont know much about windows :)
