Hello,

I am in urgent need of help with a few questions regarding networking and windows server, there are 18 questions in total.

Some questions involve taking screenshots etc although if you are quite familiar with the program and networking id think they would be relatively easy to answer.

I am willing to pay for your help via paypal.

Please reply or PM me if you can help me.

Thanks,

Agreed. Just post the questions and we'll help out as we can. If it's something ridiculous, we'll take your money :)

I dont like people helping me for free i would prefer if i could work with someone and pay them to help answer all or some of the questions.

For example one of the questions i need help with is:

How can you use global groups, domain local groups and universal groups to set up permissions.

I agree with drebo. However, password management policies are quite easy to set in windows server. A quick google could find you that.

Hint: check in the Active Directory Security Policy

Hey its not homework, i have an exam coming up which has questions regarding windows server 2003 although i have never used the program and dont have access to it. Thats why i am needing someone who knows about the program to help me so that i dont study the wrong information and fail that section. It is only a very marginal section regarding the exam although im wanting to try and get the best mark possible.

Did you not do any work throughout the course? I doubt any teacher in their right mind just goes and puts material on the exam that you have no way of studying for...

Anyways, the password policy information can be found in Group Policy under Computer Configuration --> Windows Settings --> Security Settings --> Account Policies --> Password Policy. Change the "Maximum password age" to 42 (6x7 = 42).

For the lockout on 3 attempts, under Group Policy, go to Computer Configuration --> Windows Settings --> Security Settings --> Account Policies --> Account Lockout Policy and set "Account lockout threshold" to 3 attempts.

Hey Jamsan i am doing the course via correspondence as the course is unavailable in my area, my contact at the college isnt very good at sending replies so my questions etc go un attended to for days.

Thank you for responding with those questions it is much appreciated.

I have offered payment as it is much cheaper than hiring a tutor to help me.

So your essentially taking an exam that is supposed to cover this material and asking us to answer these questions for you? If your taking an exam that covers Server 2003, which by the way is a server operating system, not a program, then YOU should know about Server 2003, not asking us to give you answers for, what sounds like basic Server operating system questions that cover group policies and password policies. Get a book, install Server 2003 and get doing the practice items in the book. Only way to learn this stuff is to actually dive in and do it.

Parallels (on Macintosh) supports the installation of Server 2003. Server 2003 is available in 180-day trial versions from Microsoft.
