Networking Win2K and a DOS Box

Ausm

Lifer
Here is what I am trying to do... I am using Microsoft Lanmanager 3.0 on the DOS Client(3 of them) and I am networking them to both Win 98 and Win 2K machines.

I am using TCP/IP as the default protocol so I can connect all the puters on the LAN to the internet.

I know the DOS machines are setup properly because I can see them on all the machines but ONLY the Win 98 boxes can browse the DOS Boxes.

When I try to Browse a DOS Box with a Win2K machine, I get this error message "network request not supported" 🙁

I am going to try to install the netbuei protocol on both machines to see if this will help.

Any help would be appreciated,

AUSM

P.S Networking DOS Machines suck 🙂

Thx for the link..I already hit this site and I am networking the computers using Microsoft Lanmanager...I guess I will have to E-mail that guy to get the info I need.
