I will be graduating from the University of Illinois in May with a B.S. in mechanical engineering and a GPA of 3.2. Looking for something within manufacturing/process or test engineering. I do have internship experience in my desired areas. Prefer a larger manufacturing company near a medium/large city in the Midwest. I won't be checking this thread, so please PM me.

Looking for work in Lexington Ky. Almost anything will do, the family is moving down for my girlfriends new job. Experiene in IT (Started with a novell admin internship and moved down as the job market here died, did general tech support(setting up new labs, troubleshooting, testing software packages before they were pushed over the intranet, phone cable internet support, contract jobs deploying new machines/upgrading old ones). Currently working as a claims adjuster, with a year in on it. Can do just about anything with little training/job shadowing. Looking for something that pays reasonably and has education benefits.

My company is hiring, and depending on the position, will offer relocation:

http://www.remedymd.com/about/careers.shtml

AFAIK, the most urgent need is web designer. Be warned though, it's not just web design that you'd need and be prepared to have many excellent samples of your work.

Other positions include product managers, account managers, and software developers.

Benefits here are great: 100% paid (other than co-pays and a small deductible) health insurance for your family, paid holidays, paid vacation, paid gym memberships, and a great work environment.

:)

That PHP Developer position is exactly the type of job I want to land after I get my entry-level experience out of the way. It's too bad this opening didn't happen a few years into the future :p

I maybe looking for work soon. Nokia (the company I work for) is merging with Sanyo. 250 people got laid off last week. I don't think I wanna stick around to be a casualty of the next layoff.

Anyone know anything good in San Diego? I work right now as a Software Test Engineer at Nokia so I would like to do something along the same lines.

TIA.

Hello,
Chemical Engineering graduate, 3.47 GPA, did composites and fuel cell research while in college, looking for jobs in the Seattle area. However, I also worked for three years at a local high school, doing technical support+service (I was the only on-site tech). So I have IT experience too. I can build, fix, and network, including AD.

Really, I'm not too picky as to jobs right now, I just need anything. I'd love to work on composites, but since Boeing hasn't gotten back to me yet...

thanks.

Hey everybody....

Just got laid off from a small USAF contractor... the project contract wasn't renewed :( I finished up my CS degree last may, programmed mostly in Java while in school.

I put in 6 months with the job I was at. The program I worked on was a web client/server type program using java, jsp, javascript, html, mysql, and we were going to start using some SOAP stuff in it too. I'm looking for work in Colorado, and anywhere on the West Coast. I'm currently in Ohio. I was also on track to have a secret clearance level, and was approved for an interim secret. If anybody expresses interest before March 10th, the investigation to give me the full secret clearance won't be suspended, and so I'd be on track to have it by November (or so our security guy says..either way...i can have the interim level back in about 3 weeks if it's after 3/10).

I put myself through college as doing help desk stuff, so I have about 2 years of experience in that field, both phone, internet, and on location.

So..basically...I'll wear either hat....java programmer or pc tech.....

I'm about to finish my degree in IT/IS this May 2006. I'm currently not working in the IT/IS industry so I would really like an entry level position in San Diego as a DBA assistant. Looking to emphasize in MYSQL/PHP or even Oracle. Please let me know soon, willing to relocate throughout California.

I'm searching for an IT related internship for this upcomming summer in Michigan. I'm willing to relocate in the right situation.

I've worked on the Help Desk for 4 years, been resident printer repairman, and worked on a couple migratory projects around the department. I'll be graduating in 2007, with a BS in Information Systems.

Feel free to PM me.

I am looking for a telecommuting/remote position, but it's hard to know what is legit out there and what isn't. I need something flexible, so I'm posting here with hopes someone will have a lead for me.

My degree is a BS in Accounting. I have worked in developing accounting information systems for small business, as well as worked in corporate and public accounting. I have also done technical support for clients in the past, so I can be versatile. I do have telecommuting experience doing accounting, minor website work, and systems analysis.

Thanks for the help!
