i'm looking to set up an old IBM as an access point for a secure network... i want my connection to be, basically, dsl modem to IBM, IBM to router, router to networked PCs. anyway, if that description made sense, what sort of card do i need to carry the connection from the IBM to the router? just another NIC? or something else? sorry if its a noob-ish question, but im a networking noob.
