Networking question (wireless to wired)

Need to connect a computer on a wireless connection (54g using a usb adaptor) to replay tv (wired, ethernet). Is this possible?

are you on the same network, but have some machines wired, and others wireless?

the one and only wireless router is in the living room with the cable modem
the rtv is in another room which has a computer connected wirelessly to the net (usb adaptor, 54g)

can i hook the computer up with the rtv using a regular ethernet cable?

So in other words you want the desktop to receive the wireless signal like it is currently and then allow the replay tv to plug into the computer to provide internet.

Yes that is very possible, setting up ICS (Internet connection sharing) would work for this.

You should be able to use the network card in your computer for this.
