Networking Printer with mac and PC

Hey Guys,

We have two printers a HP laser and and Espson 3 in 1. My wife has a G$ running OSX(10) and I have a dell PC running windows XP with SP2.

How can I network the printers so we both can use them? We are using a SMC router SMC2804wbr.

I am new to networking so easy to follow directions would help a lot.

One way would be to add a wired print server that connects to the router with an ethernet cable.

Then you connect the printers to the server.

i heard there is a way to network them using xp. Peopls have told me you can do that with a mac and a pc.
