You cannot connect the modem to a hub directly, because a hub isn't able to send the datapackages to the right pc's. That's where a router comes in. If you want to connect more pc's to the internet with the cablemodem you definitely need a router. With the router from your link, you also need a hub, even better a switch. The Modem will have to connect to the WAN port, the switch or hub to the LAN port.
On that site I saw another
router with a built-in switch, that makes everything easier.
The Modem connects to your WAN port, 4 ports to connect to your pc's and the uplinkport can be used to connect an extra switch or hub. If that's the case, one of the 4 ports will probably be unusable. But you can make a chain of switches, linking from uplink to port, uplink to port and so on.
edit
You could even do it a bit overdone:
😀😀
pc1 near the router connecting to port 1
cable from router port 2 to uplinkport from a switch in room1
cable from router port 3 to uplinkport from a switch in room2
cable from router port 4 to uplinkport from a switch in room3
With the switches in every room connected to the router, you could even connect more pc's in every room! (Which is detrimental to your surfing speed, when everything is online at the same time.)
