Ok I had two computers running great using a hub sharing the cable together.

However we installed a pci modem and wanted to use a dialup networking to get into certain things within my dads work.

Now the pci ethernet controler doesnt want to install. The internet cable isnt working on the computer with the dial up networking but its working on the one I'm typing with now :0.

Please help me

I'm going to need more information to answer your question. First of all, What version of Windows are you using? What is the model number and brand of the Modem and the NIC? Check Device Manager (Right click on my computer and hit properties, then click the "Device Manager" tab for Windows 9x/ME, for Win 2k, right click on my computer hit properties, then click on the "Hardware" tab, then click the Device Manager button). Do both devices show up in Device Manager? Are they both functioning normally according to Device Manager?
