Networking Bridge Setup Guide?

Hi Folks,

I have a ReplayTV 5516 that I purchased back in December 2005. This was an upgrade from my ancient Panasonic Showstopper HS2000 that finally died. I used to have the system update the program guide and such through the modem. Now that I have the new system I wanted to set it up with a wireless Ethernet Bridge to connect to my DSL Router. I primarily want to be able to retrieve shows using DV Archive, edit them (remove commercials) and then burn these to DVD. I'm not interested in using IVS right at this moment. Here are my network system specifics.

WRT54G Wireless Linksys Broadband Router (firmware 4.20.7)

WET54G Wireless Ethernet Bridge (brand new)

I've read a variety of articles from different sites and am still confused on exactly how to set this bridge up. Is there a step by step guide somewhere on the Internet on how to do this? Do I use a dynamic IP address or static for the ReplayTV DVR? If so, exactly how do I set this up? I have the DHCP Server enabled on my router but do not have any Static DNS numbers enabled. Sorry if these questions have already been answered. Any help, direction or advice provided would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Roger

I think what you're asking for may be out of my range, but I do know that you can go to network connections in XP and right click on the connection you want bridged and voila.
