Can anyone recommend me some good books to study for the CCNA(to refresh my outdated knowledge)? Or any other literature that you may use in the field (doesn't necessarily have to be for the CCNA). Also know of any books on the subject of Network Security, vulnerability analysis? Someone previously recommended the Foundstone books like Hacking Exposed: Network Security Secrets & Solutions as a good place to start for network security, anyone here ever read it?

I am trying to find networking positions and anything that I can use to sharpen my skillset would be useful.

Anything Todd Lammle writes. I believe he writes a book published by Sybex. Exellent Cisco Cert author.
