Networking a CDR-ROM....

I was wondering if it was possible to Network your CDR so other computers recognize it as a CD-ROM, NOT a shared folder. I know you can share your CD-ROM so others can get files... but EZ CD doesn't recognize network CDR-ROMs. Can I copy a CD directly using my own CD-ROM and a CDRW on the network?

hmm,
I used PcAnywhere and it worked 🙂

the CD-Writer did the work as it copied over the 100mbit network 🙂
screwd up once with 8x
so i did it at 4x
was all good

i think windows will only show it as a shared drive...not an actual recognized cdrom/cdr in cdrwin etc...that would be sweet if it can be done without too much effort

$175!??!, you would be better off getting a new CD-RW ( i think you can get at least a 14x10x32 for that) there has to be something cheaper, i'll keep my eye out 4 ya.
