Networking 2 computers in win98

Hi guys,

Can you please tell me step by step how to network two computers in win98?


I already have the two computers with its own NIC installed, connected just with a yellow crossover cable RJ45. I have been able to see each other computer with its hard drives, but when I restart one of the computers doesn't keep the settings for "Set this protocol to be the default protocol" on the NetBEUI properties. What am I doing wrong?
