Networking 2 comps under WIN98

Ok, before i even start i am pretty much a dumass when it comes to networking so forgive my igonorance.

Heres what i need to do, i want to network two computers in my house for LAN so i can play 2 player games, i already have two 10/100base cards installed on the computers. NOW WHAT DO I NEED TO DO.
 


You have to load the drivers that came with the Network Cards (follow the card?s instruction manual)

The simplest way to connect two computers with NICs is to use a CrossOver CAT5 Network Cable. (Important the cable has to be Crossover).

For current games you have to use TCP/IP protocol (some older games need IPX protocol.
