Networked Samsung printer

For some unknown (to me anyway) reason, my printer has assigned itself and new IP address and all my computers on the network think it is still the old IP address, ergo I cannot print because the printer can't be seen. I have racked my brain, but I haven't figured out how to change it to what it used to be. Running Vista BTW. I'm sure I overlooked something simple, any help appreciated.

If it's anything like my Samsung printer (CLP-310N), you need to go into your printer properties and edit the TCP/IP port to match the new ip address (under the "Port" tab, there should be one port checked). The port itself may be labeled with the old ip address but that's ok as long as you edit the ip address it's referencing.

BTW my printer has a customizable hostname so that way you could call it "bob" and instead of entering an ip address you'd enter "bob" and you could forget about ip addresses altogether.
