I asked a question yesterday and finally got everything sorted out. Thanks for the help.
My network consists of a cable modem, plugged into a Belkin Message Manager router (for voip phone), which then goes into a Linksys wireless router, and from there into my computer.
The problem I am having is with frequent dropped connections. This hardly ever happened when the Belkin Message Manager wasn't in the loop, but now that everything is connected together, I lose connection about every 30 minutes or so. It seems like it is especially worse when there is a lot of bandwidth being used in a short period of time. Like downloading a large torrent cause it to lose connection. Also when playing world of warcraft, I lose connection when zoning into a large town where a lot of information has to be transferred. Any ideas what could be causing this before I beat the Belkin router with a baseball bat?
