I live in the boonies . . . a town of about 1,500 people. No Cell Phone Service. No Cable or DSL (on my trail). Only Satellite - I can't afford it.

Well, I only have network TV. Suggestions? I didn't watch much TV this Winter 'cept X-Files & Voyager (Buffy ended - pretty weird, huh?) and recently discovered Boston Public.

ALSO - Do you think Network TV SUCKS? Are TV programs and programming (including commercials) getting better or worse?

I think TV has always had some very quality programming. But it really hasn't changed much in the last 10-20 years as the bulk of it is not quality and there just seem to be MORE annoying commercial interruptions.

Is that about the "most quality" that Network TV has to offer? (Quality refers to writing/acting/continuity).

Is there anything consistently funny?

I gave up on Saturday Night Live this season. The political jokes weren't even very good. (I liked the first few years of the show.)

Malcolm in the Middle is pretty funny. It's on Fox, Sunday nights.

Don't you just hate it when someone starts a thread and then completely drops out?
Sorry. :)
I am aware of Malcom (thanks) and also like the Simpsons. I completely forgot about the Beast - must be their advertising is not up-to-par. I'll check it out, thanks.

Well, I also say that "Buffy" spin-off and "Dark Angel" and the monster under Chicago one & 7-Days are not up-to-par.
Not really looking that good this Summer. :(

Pr0n.

:D

Buffy, Angel, and Dark Angel had great seasons, if you missed any of these you check the re-runs out.

If not Whose Line Is It Anyway is always good for a laugh, as is MadTV.
