Network Topology Diagram Tool?

I believe the guy said it was made by cisco but it doesnt require cisco products like cisco maker.

It exported the topology into a website based and had dragable nodes. you could specify IPs and settings and things.

thanks guys--- if you dont know the exact one, any that work well will be great, these are mainly small networks

ha no thats not it.. ha i actually mentioned that in the first post, but thanks for the advice. cisco maker is good for getting the configurations up to the devices but i dont need to do that.

visio is ok, but i know theres a product that will make a webbased diagram. and im pretty sure it was created by cisco, but its universal for a generic router or whatever.

thanks

visio will lay out an automatic toplogy based upon SNMP and publish it to the web.

There really isn't a better tool, outside of openview (but even then ou have to tweak openview)

So to get a good topology, SNMP has to be enabled, no matter what tool is used? I had thought What'sUp Gold did a good job at generating a topology...thoughts?
