network problems

Does anyone know why i have to click repair in the NIC properties to make my internet connection work, i have Cox cable, a linksys cable modem and a linksys router, i have changed the network card with 3 others and i still get the same problem. i dont have this problem with other comps on my network though, just this one

Have you tried reinstalling the OS?

Maybe your lease for that internet connection is on a low timer?
