Network password problems

I'm just wondering if someone can help me. I'm having major difficulties using my ADSL modem. I think I've found what the problem is, it's called windows network password. I think I have gotten a password that I don't know about. When I start my computer I enter windows after a while. There it asks for a network password, a password that I don't know.

Because of that I can't use my ADSL modem since it requires network access in order to work.

So please, any windows wizkid out there that knows what I should do. Remove the password, add another one? And if so how should I do it. Preferable I would like to have the password removed all together so I never have to type in that login name. If it's possible.

//Thanks for hopefully helping me out 🙂

Try this.. do a search (Find) for all .pwl files on your computer. Delete them all.. then go into the network icon in the control panel. Set the Primary Network Logon to Client For Microsoft Networks.... Restart the computer.

It will restart and come up with the Windows Logon prompt.. put in your Login name for your ADSL account.. leave the password blank.. then click OKAY. Now anytime you reboot it will automatically log you in since you left the password blank.
