Network packet recorder/playback program

Does anyone know of an application that will record multicast traffic, have the ability to save the traffic to a file, and playback the file to a given IP/port?

P.S. Before I get flamed, I already asked in Software but there isn't much traffic over there... so please don't hate me 🙂
 
windows has some native ability with network monitor adapter, but it sounds like you want a more full featured sniffer

search sourceforge under - networking - monitoring for "Sniffer" and you get some good hits

ettercap, snort, IPgrab , etc
