Network my outside ip to my inside ip ; )

I have a DSL Gateway I am running Apache on a linux box.

How do I make it so that when people type in my IP addy they see my website?

I already tried to forward port 80 to my Lan IP (192.168.0.2) But it did not seem to work.

Port 80 may be blocked by your ISP. Try a random high port.

I don't believe Port 80 is blocked.

I was just trying to give you a 2 minute way to help you be sure it isn't blocked.

Try to connect to port 80 locally.
Double check your forward.
Ensure there are no firewalls blocking the traffic.
Try to connect to port 80 from the outside.

If you aren't willing to give the other step, I think that's about all you can do.

Did you try a different port like n0cmonkey said?

Also, make sure that port 80 is forwarded and remote admin for your router is disabled(sometimes that will mess with port 80/8080).

Yes I tried another port and I could not get it to work.
Yes Remote admin is off.
on apache servername is set to localhost would that affect anything?

I reinstalled apache and i have left everything default.

Telnet to port 80 from the outside. Does it connect, or do you get an error?

When I try to telnet to port 80 I get this.

telnet: [80]: bad port

What does this tell you?
