Network Management Software?

its been awhile since ive used them, anyone know any new tools to use for monitoring traffic and not just basic information , I need a lot of information on the network for an implementation of VOIP im doing. The last one i used was solarwinds .. but i wanna know if there are others that can do similar to solarwinds or better.

ciscoworks is for device management, nothing to do with actual traffic.

exactly what information are you after? does your infrastructure support NetFlow?

Cisco NAM would monitor traffic though
