A nice little printer wth network built in It's a real printer that's PostScript3 with expandable memory.

Black and White only. 1200x1200 dpi. Includes a full, 5000 page toner cartridge.
Shipping: $15.75 Fedex Saver.

Of course, this is completely due to my purchase of the ML-2250 last week.:p

Edited: Printer w/ Postscript $214 no rebates

So, for the price of a toner cart and PostSript module, you get a 1200 dpi netork printer for free plus shipping.

its PostScript upgradeable? that would make this a pretty good deal - I didn't bother to google it.

It's one of those "If you have to ask, you don't need things".

For this printer it means that you should be able to print high quality grayscale images and or use them in documents.

he's right, you can live without postscript. You can just use the PCL6 language & it will work.

I believe it is postscript upgradeable, but it requires a DIMM to do so.

The 2251NP has Postscript native, IIRC.

You are correct sir! Newegg is selling this printer for $214 plus shipping. That leaves only additional memory to upgrade if needed. This is all because of my recent purchase of the non network, non postscript version of the same printer. Without me, the price would be hovering around $370.00

ML-2251NP at Newegg for $214.00 plus shipping.

Buy.com has the printer for $229.99 with a $50 MIR.

Combine with a 10% coupon (I received mine via e-mail) to lower the price to $159.99 after MIR. Free shipping too!

Seems like a great deal for a printer with PCL6, PS3, and ethernet/parallel/USB connectivity.

Link to printer (page has rebate form)

Wow, looks a lot like my HP4, 10+ years old, but still going strong and CHEAP.

I've used several Samsung printers in my office: 1210, 1710, and now the 2251N. The 2251N is much bigger in size and the fan is louder than the others. The pop open manual feed tray is very convenient. All printers have the annoying warm up period, but after that, the 2251N is super FAST. I don't use the network feature.

Samsung's website shows the 2251NP to be a discontinued model, but not the 2251N.
