Network gurus - What job search engine do you use?

We're looking to hire a bunch of high-end network infrastructure guys (routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, etc.) and I'd like to get some feedback to give to our recruiter on what search engines you guys all use to look for jobs. IE, hotjobs, monster, DICE, etc.. Let me know! For us, high-end is CCIE-level or people who have 10+ years in the biz doing network infrastructure and really know their stuff.

Whats the matter? Afraid some young whipper-snapper is gonna do twice the work in half the time? I'm by no means a guru, but I use all that you mentioned, as the Chattanooga, TN market is pretty thin.

I list with Dice, ComputerJobs, etc.

You may do better by recruiting amongst your professional contacts...many experienced people won't post on an online BBS, as it may put their current position at risk. Also, they don't want calls/contacts from all sorts of people for low-end jobs.

I would suggest going to any conferences you can, and meeting/greeting....putting out the word that you're looking for just that type of high-end, experienced, and knowledgeable staffers. You Garion are the best recruiter for this, because you know the industry, and you can tell within 5 minutes of chatting w/ someone if they (a) know what they're talking about, and (b) are in the right places for someone of that level of experience.

So, call up 5 of your colleagues at other companies, and ask if they know of any folks looking for a position, or who are ready for a change of pace. Don't forget, payback is important, so remember these folks, and be ready to do them a favor later on.

I can't help, as I'm nowhere near you, and know nobody in that area.

Not a guru, but whn Im looking for a job I throw my resume on dice.com, computerjobs.com, headhunter.net, dccomputerjobs.com (or something like that), and monster. Some of these have merged, but I havent been looking for a job in a while so I havent kept up with it.

If this is USA only I can be no help. In the UK I'd go with Jobserve.

There's a lot of good talent on the bench right now you should get some good people.

All very good suggestions, and I've actually gotten some great referrals from friends, old co-workers and vendors. We're ramping so fast that anyplace we can find someone is a good thing..
