Network Drive Monitor?

edro

Lifer
I have this one network drive that always seems to take FOREVER to save files to at certain times of the day.

It is our personal folder network drive. I open my Excel file, modify it, close it and Save. The Save takes minutes and sometimes times out and says I need to save a copy locally.

Is there a tool that will monitor the speed / access to a particular network drive (folder)?

I would like to see when my access is fast, so I can actually save out to it.

This is kind of Networking... but it's also Software.

Thank you!

Yeah, I think it is more of a traffic issue or something.

I wish I had a little Application that would "ping" the network drive every second or so and give a little graph of whether it is fast or not.
